About Gera Pride
Gera Pride works to make queer people visible and supported in eastern Thuringia. It is organized by a local association that started as a project of Stadt.Zeit e. V. and has since become independent.
With around 90,000 residents, Gera is Thuringia's third-largest city. For queer people in the surrounding area, the local Pride march is often the closest chance to be visible in public — unlike Jena or Erfurt, Gera has little queer infrastructure day to day.
