About Turin Pride
Turin holds a specific place in Italian LGBTQIA+ history. It is where Fuori!, the country's first gay and lesbian rights movement, was founded, where the first national lesbian conference was held, and where Italy's first public counselling centre for gender identity opened its doors. Torino Pride draws directly on that history.
The event is organised by Coordinamento Torino Pride, an alliance of local LGBTQIA+ associations that pools its members' resources for shared campaigns and actions.
