Torreon Pride 2026 / Pride Torreón 2026

With just over 700,000 residents, Torreón is the largest city in the La Laguna region of northern Mexico, on the border between the states of Coahuila and Durango. Every June it hosts one of the bigger Pride marches in the north of the country.

The march, known locally as Pride TRC or Pride Laguna, is organised by collectives and civil rights groups from the region and has been held for many years. The traditional meeting point is Plaza Mayor in the centre. From there the march heads along Calle Galeana and Avenida Hidalgo through downtown before looping back near the square. Local press has reported several thousand participants. In some years there is also a second march that starts at the Alameda Zaragoza and ends at the Plaza de Armas.

The march is both a celebration and a political demonstration, calling for protection from violence and equal rights, including for trans people. On marriage, Coahuila is ahead of many other states: same-sex couples have been able to marry here for more than a decade, and Coahuila was among the first states to pass the necessary reform.

After the march, the crowd moves on to the bars downtown. Torreón has a small but steady scene, including the club Suite on Avenida Escobedo, which opens at weekends.

Dates and routes are announced anew each year, usually through local media and the organisers' social media channels.
