About Preston
Preston Pride is an annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community held in Preston city centre. Taking place at Preston Flag Market, the event is entirely run by dedicated volunteers who work throughout the year to make it happen. Preston Pride brings together the community of Preston and the wider North West region for a day of recognition, celebration, and support of the local LGBTQ+ population.
The event features live music, performances, and a variety of information and vendor stalls that showcase local organisations and community initiatives. What makes Preston Pride distinctive is its grassroots nature—it is a free event organised by and for the community. Both organisations and individuals are encouraged to get involved and contribute to its success, making it a truly collaborative effort.
