Tuebingen Pride 2027

Tübingen Pride only dates back to the early 2020s. It is organised by a volunteer-run association that holds the march every June. There is no fixed route. The association plans a new one each year and publishes it on its website ahead of the event.

For the fifth edition, marchers gathered on the Marktplatz. The procession wound through the old town and along the Stadtgraben to the Lustnauer Tor, stopping for an interim rally outside the Kino Museum cinema. It then crossed the Neckar bridge and followed Uhlandstraße to the grounds of the Ract! festival on Kastanienallee, where the closing rally was held.

The old town is hilly and partly cobbled. So that people who cannot manage the route on foot can still take part, two buses lent by Lebenshilfe Tübingen, a local disability organisation, joined the fifth edition. The Ract! festival provided the stage for the closing rally.

The Queeres Zentrum Tübingen at Derendinger Straße 41 works closely with the Pride team. The organising team meets in its rooms and gets a lot of support from the centre's staff. Year-round it offers counselling for queer people and their families, a café and a meetup for queer refugees.

Date, meeting point and programme are posted a few weeks in advance on the association's website, along with accessibility information and ways to get involved, such as stewarding or bringing a float.
