About Koblenz Pride
Pride Koblenz plays on the city's setting at the point where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. Under the motto "Two Rivers Against the Current," people from across the region gather for a weekend built around that image. The event is run by BUNT 56 e.V., a Koblenz-based association that works on queer life in the city year-round.
The heart of the weekend is the march, which starts at Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer and moves through downtown to Münzplatz. Before that, an ecumenical service at Liebfrauenkirche gives people a quieter moment together. Two stages go up around Liebfrauenkirche and Münzplatz: a main stage with talks, music, and performances, and a dance stage where DJs including KimBeks and Patrick Agricultor take turns behind the decks.
