Landsberg am Lech Pride 2027

Landsberg am Lech does not have its own Pride. There is no association, march or street festival under that name that can be confirmed for the town. Queer people from Landsberg and the surrounding district usually travel to the larger cities of the region to celebrate and demonstrate, above all to Augsburg.

Augsburg Pride, known locally as Christopher Street Day Augsburg, is the closest event with its own well documented organisation. It is run by the association Christopher Street Day Augsburg, which puts together a programme every year with a street festival and a parade through the city. The event takes place in June. There is a printed programme, and the association's website explains its awareness services, so that everyone taking part can feel safe.

The association is active all year round. Around the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia in May it organises its own events, and in summer it turns a beer garden into the Queergarten on several dates. Preparation for the next Pride happens in open planning meetings spread over several months. Anyone who wants to help, whether with organisation, an information stand or technical support, can join in.

Queerbeet Augsburg, the group for young queer people, is also visible in the city and a good first contact for teenagers from the Landsberg district. Anyone who would rather not go to Pride alone can find company there. The association publishes the exact day on its website well in advance.
